Aron
Kincaid
Aron Kincaid
(actor, writer, artist) is a long time friend
of Maureen O'Hara.
Born
in Hollywood, Aron was surrounded by art and films from the beginning.
At the age of 12 he won his first important national art award. At age
16 he produced, directed and starred in "The Fall of Nineveh" - a full
length theatrical film with a cast of 500 - definitely a very
impressive
start for this young man. Since then, Kincaid has had quite an
adventure
with some very diverse experiences in life. He's been a security
guard for the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, worked on a construction gang in
the
South Seas, dubbed films in Paris, led tours of the Acropolis in
Greece,
was a rock singer on the Via Veneto in Rome, graduated from the
U.C.L.A.
Cinema Department, served 8 years in the United States Coast Guard
Reserve,
appeared in 18 motion pictures, was involved in over 300 television
shows
and for 20 years (1970-1990) was one of the top fashion models in
the United States appearing in literally thousands of ads in all media.
Throughout
all
his moving about (he has had 20 addresses in the last five years) he
has
maintained "Moonfleet," his studio home in Benedict Canyon, where he
often
paints 24 hours on end.
In his nine
Hollywood
collections of oil paintings (the first two collections were acquired
by
Motown Records and Mr. Dean Martin), Aron Kincaid, the artist, has
attempted
to portray in retrospect a city's most colorful inhabitants and their
involvement
in an era that is all but totally gone. Having lived through this
time and having been a part of it, Kincaid has tried to capture the
glory,
the superficial, the madness and the joy of something the world will
never
see again.
