        MAJOR ARCANA

        THE FOOL, the archetype of the innocent. He starts out his journey into life, with no preconceptions, no prejudices, totally carefree and open to all life has to offer. He tells us to enjoy life as it happens, to enjoy the adventure. So start the journey, and savor the excitement and hope of a new beginning.  The Oil for the Fool? Sweet Orange. The oil that uplifts and refreshes, that gives one physical and magical energy and fills one with joy, the zest for life.

        THE MAGICIAN. With the Magician you have all the tools to turn your idea into reality, to create your dream. He brings a burst of energy and intuition, and you may find a whole new path or direction opening up right in front of you. This is the "Be all you Dream" Card.  The oil for the Magician is Ginger for Courage, Physical and Magical Energy, Fortitude and Confidence.

        THE HIGH PRIESTESS. Drawing this card means that it's time to open up to to your intuitive side.  Listen to your feelings instead of analyzing and rationalizing everything . Look beneath the surface to find your answers.   Myrrh is the oil of the High Priestess. An oil of Spirtuality and mysticism. Myrrh helps to cool the emotions and awakens the spiritual being which lies within us all and aids in meditation.

        THE EMPRESS.  The epitomy of womanhood! She is the card of fertility, of prosperity, new ideas, birth and creation. She is the card of abundance, a new home and contentment. She is happiness to come.   What other oil for such a woman than Rose? Rose, the oil of love and beauty and of sex and womans magic. It is an oil for the Divine, for harmony and peace, for wisdom, acceptance and joy.

        THE EMPEROR.  The ultimate symbol of Authority. Drawing the Emperor means it's time to work things through logically, to develop your leadership skills.   You may be forced to deal with someone in Authority, and being reasonable, presenting your self calmly without being brash or pushy will help them to see things your way.   The Emperor can also mean that you will soon be receiving some advice that you should pay heed to.  The oil for the Emperor is of course Jasmine. Jasmine is the oil of Peace, Sex, Confidence, Intuition, Optimisim, Harmony, Assertivness, Joy and Spirituality

        THE HIEROPHANT. The Hierophant is all things traditional, the local church, the school, marriage etc.  All the things we do to be able to get along with other people.  Getting this card means one is or should be questioning all the unconventional things in their lives.  Is this really the way you want to live your life? Sometimes one needs to be a little more like ones parents if they want to get things done.  The oil for the Hierophant is Frankincense for all things spiritual, wisdom, acceptance, enlightenment, protection, inspiration, for grounding oneself in reality and is helpful in meditation.

        THE LOVERS. This is the card that means a lot more than Love. This is a card of Choices. It can definately mean a new romance in the wings, but you may not find it quite as easy as that. You may have to choose between a new romance and an old romance, or even not to get involved with anyone.  This card also points to a spiritual feeling of being in harmony with those around you. Perhaps it's a Career offer of something that you love to do. This can also mean temptation or even sudden inspiration.  The oil for the Lovers is YlangYlang. An oil of Love, Peace, of Inspiration, togetherness, seduction and ecstasy.

        THE CHARIOT.  Drawing the Chariot means buckle your seat belt, you're in for a bumpy ride. You may find that someone is trying to assert their authority, or that YOUR authority is being challenged.   BUT, you've got the strength in you to over come any of the strife that gets in your way. You are entirely focused on where you want to be, and you can get there.  The Essential Oil for the Chariot is Pine. Pine is used for magical energy, protection, perserverance, tenacity, Money, purification, assertiveness, protection and healing.

        STRENGTH.  The card that tells you to grab your courage in your hands and face your demons, and as you face down your fears you will find yourself free to live.   This card is also the card of love overcoming fears, hate and prejudice. You have the inner strength, courage and conviction to overcome the obstacles that block your path.   The oil for Strength is Black Pepper. This oil is used for physical energy, for courage, for endurace, stamina, security, and protection.

        THE HERMIT.  The Hermit is the card of Wisdom, and you may have to draw apart for a little time for meditation, to seek out your own anwers. You might also feel a need to seek out someone who will be able to give you the answers you look for.  This card can also mean that someone values your counsel and will come looking for some good advice.  The oil for The Hermit is Sage. This is the oil of Wisdom, Self Awareness, Memory and as an aid in Meditation

        THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE.  WOW! Let me touch you. You've entered an extremely fortunate time of your life. Things are definately going your way. This could mean a New Job, a New home, a Tax rebate, or even winning the Lottery.  But... always remember, the Wheel keeps turning and while you may be feeling the Hand of Dame Fortune today, Tomorrow could be another story.  The Oil for the Wheel of Fortune is Bergamot. Bergamot is the oil of Happiness, Joy, Harmony, Completeness and Prosperity.

        JUSTICE.  The card of fairness, of weighing all the pros and cons and making a decisions that is right for everyone. This is the card of balance and truth.  Be aware that the Sword of Truth is Double Edged and sometimes the truth can be cold and hurts, but remember, "The Truth will set you Free".   The oil for the Justice card is Thyme, the oil of courage, decisiveness, Balance, The conscious Mind, Concentration, alertness and self empowerment.

        THE HANGED MAN.  A card of self sacrifice. It's time to give up something that you have been cherishing, such as a bad attitude, for the good of all involved.  The Hanged Man represents Spiritual Growth, of going with the flow instead of fighting it and seeing what we can learn from it.  He tell us that we are ready to leave the past and the baggage that goes with it, behind us and get on with our lives. We are ready to open ourselves to new Possibilities.  The oil for the Hanged Man is Cedar. Use it when getting in touch with the Lord and Lady to encourage a Closer connection. It is also used to bring Balance, Dignity, Focus and lift the Soul.

        JUDGEMENT.  Drawing the Judgement card signals a time of clarity, of a change in consciousness. Perhaps you've been trying to improve your health, or find a new direction in life, or trying to find something better in your life.  This card also can mean new ideas, inventions, or even an increase of your awareness of the mysteries of the Universe.  The oil for the Judgement card is  Sweet Fennel. Diffuse fennel when meditating, or when working on a project that involves lots of new ideas. When in need of a little courage or perseverance, or some new insight, make a charm and carry it about your person.

        THE WORLD.  Drawing the  World indicates that you've Tcome through all the struggles, you understand all the lessons that have been presented, and you are ready to go for the goal.   Things are going your way, you are reaping the rewards of all the hard work that you have put in. This can mean a promotion, getting your own business, or getting a bigger and better house.  You are now free to come and go as you please, and where ever you go, you are able to make people happy. The World is your Oyster.   The Oil for the World is  Lindin Blossom. When you want balance, or calm, diffuse  Lindin Blossom. To make a charm for success, add a couple of drops of  Lindin Blossom oil. Lindin Blossom is also used to bring confindence, security and a strong sense of self worth into your life.

         
        SUIT OF WANDS

        KING OF WANDS.  This card represents someone who is a leader, who is confident in what he does, encouraging and kind. A father figure or a person in Authority.  This card also can represent unexpected good fortune, a stroke of luck, or good news.  The oil for The King of Wands is Coriander. Use it in ritual before a job interview, when you need an extra shot of confidence and enthusiasm.   Or if you find your motivation is slipping, or you are running out of ideas, put a drop or two on a dream pillow to bring dreams with inspiration and ideas.

        QUEEN OF WANDS.  A rather Motherly type person with a Keen sense of her own power. She's strong, smart, loyal and generous. Her advice is well worth listening to. This can be about yourself, or it could mean to seek out someone like this, if you are in a bit of a quandry.  It could also mean that this is a good time to go ahead with a business project that you've been thinking about.  The Oil for the Queen of Wands, is Cinnamon, a spicy, warm oil, that can leave a person feeling rather cozy and comfortable. Use it too, for welcoming new initiates into your circle (being very careful as it can be extremely irritating and burn), or put a drop on your dream pillow to ward off negative energies when you are sleeping, or even in circle, when one is feeling under attack from outside negative forces.
