The General Grenville M. Dodge Camp#75 Sons of Union
Veterans of United States of America.

In January of 1916,  with the death of General Grenville M. Dodge  . The Sons of Union Veterans wanted  to form a camp in Des Moines, Iowa. The Sons of Union Veterans  named their camp General  Grenville M. Dodge in  honor of General Dodge. On May 4,1916, the General Grenville M. Dodge Camp #75 Sons of Union Veterans of United States of America was formed. In 1925, The Grenville M. Dodge Camp#75 changed their name from Sons of Union Veterans of  the United States of America to Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. There were several famous Iowa men who founded the  General Grenville M. Dodge Camp#75. The two most famous man were Governor Franklin D. Jackson and Joel Tuttle, who was the Son of General James Tuttle.
