- Purpose of this page:
- To provide links to helpful Latin study sites that would fit the budget of a starving student.
You will not find information here on curriculum to buy except for what I have to say in
A Grammar, A Dictionary, and the Loeb Classical Library about Artes Latinae.
- See also
Classics Pages
- Goal:
- To provide links to all my favorite Latin texts.
***I started this project over a year ago at a time when there was no central place to go for online Latin texts --before the
Perseus Latin Project went online and before
George Mason University had completed its grid of authors. On 10/28/97 the Perseus Latin project went up. My Latin Texts page,is now redundant, but I'll keep it on the Internet for a little while longer, anyway.***
Comments and suggestions* are welcome (as are answers to questions).
People Who Want Help With Translation:Please do not ask me. You may write to the on-line helps below, including the Grammar hotline, or a
student who's willing to translate small amounts into Latin for free. A new help offer comes from:
David Alvarez, who says, "I would be happy to take on more students if there's anyone out there looking for Latin tutorials. A modest charge, but free if they can't afford anything. I'm a grad student in English at this [Cornell] university and trying to keep up with the classical languages." Or try
this page for help with homework.
