CARS!! Nothing like the
smell of gasoline, hot exhaust, and burning rubber!
I love 1967 Chevelles,and older 20's-30's Ford roadsters.. (The
only Ford I'd own!)
Not much for now.. But here's an old and relativly
bad pic of the under-hood of my 1967 Chevelle Malibu (4 door Sport
Sedan!)
Got a 327cid rated at 275HP,with a Powerglide 2 speed transmission.. I
think there were 250,275,300,325,and a rarer 350HP version of the 327
engine produced. It's got the steel crank, and "camel hump" HO heads. I
think with some intake/exhaust,and a "lumpier" cam it should be a
little more fun! (I think the higher HP versions just had different
cams!)I've heard that the 327 is a suprising motor for it's size,and
that these heads are particularly good. Who'd have known! (The motor
was built in Flint Michigan! The VIN tag tells it all!)I've since put a
chrome aircleaner on it,a new alternator, and radiator (no more
shroud),timing chain,battery,heater core,etc.so it looks a bit
different now. (it's cleaner too!)I also have an Edelbrock intake
manifold, and Edelbrock chrome valve covers that I have yet to put
on,because I need a carb to fit the Edelbrock manifold! It currently
has a Rochester Quadrajet, that I rebuilt not long ago. (Those damn
leaky Quadrajet fuel plugs! J-B weld fixed those right up!)
Yep,it's got A/C..just rebuilt not long ago,and it blows like a
blizzard!! ;-)
I'll have more to come soon! (hopefuly some more recent pics!)
