SAT Guest bonsai artist and potter, Mike Hagedorn, will be giving you a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see which pot really fits your tree. Mike has just won the Bonsai Clubs International prize for his pottery. Everyone bring in a tree that you have a pot selection question about---anything from semi-styled to fairly polished trees. Mike will offer suggestions as to pot choice for these trees---form, surface texture, color, visual weight, etc. To lead up to discussing member's trees, this truly international artist will talk about ceramics and pot choice. |

Nurseries Fall Festival. This will be our second year at this event.
The Nursery will provide 5 tables for a Bonsai Display and a Seminar.
The Festival is a one day event (Saturday), but if we wish we can be there
for two days (Saturday & Sunday). We will have our display area
in a shaded area near the Stores Bonsai display. They will be getting
in more pots and plant material before the show. Berridge Nurseries,

SAT Kathy Shaner programs and workshops. An all day program will be given on Saturday starting at 8:30 a.m. with Kathy doing combination lecture/critique and partial demonstrations on different trees. Workshops will be on Sunday morning (8:30 - 12:30) and afternoon (1:30 - 5:30). Either bring your own lunch or we'll group order out for Baggin's. To be held at the Meyer's residence. Reservations for the workshop must have been postmarked by Sept. 15. $40 for each workshop session ($75 for the entire day), or $20 per session for observers ($35 for the entire day).
