Elk at Sunset, yellowstone

Yellowstone is a great place to photograph animals. This is a sandwiched (digital) composite. The elk was photographed the previous day in a field, also at sunset. The image is 35mm. This image won the "Special Award for Artistic Merit" in the 1999 U.S. Department of the Interior 150th anniversary photography contest.
