Last week I was living
on the shady side of the street
(I) wore a frown, and moped around
Didn't even want to eat
But now I'm on the upswing
Biochemicals kickin' in
So take me to a party
And let the fun begin

Up and down
High and low
Like the seasons change
It's natural

I was talking to a shrink, he said
"These pills will put you on track"
I said, "I'm just like the seasons, man"
"So get off of my back"
Sometimes I wear a Hawaiian shirt
Sometimes I dress in black
(I) hiberbate for a couple of days
And then come roaring back
