RAINBOW BRIDGE
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body begins quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.
The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

In Loving Memory of my beloved friends who will forever be missed

Desi lost her life on July 1st, 2004 after losing her battle with kidney failure. Desi was a very, very  special girl. She was never shown, as she thought she was born to fly instead of born to gait. What Desi gave me was love and companionship for the past 13 years. Desi gave me my first two Champions, brother and sister pie balds. Desi also ran on my recreational sled team and helped me cross the finish line in my first Novice Sled Race. She was just a joy to have around. I was so lucky to have been blessed with this very special girl.
Thank you Linda! I will miss her terrible.

    A Special Place

You have a special place, Dear Lord that I know you'll always keep
a special place reserved for horses, to peacefully fall asleep.
With maybe a little babbling creek, that rushes over stones.

With wide open green fields and flowers, for those who never knew
of running, playing freely under sky of perfect blue.

Lord, I know you keep this special place, and so, to you I pray
for one oh so special horse who came to you today.

She was full of strength and love, and so very, very wise.
The horsey look she once had, this morning left her eyes.

She will be dearly missed, Lord, This special love of mine,
but now she'll romp and play in your land that's so divine.

Speak to my baby softly, please with a hug and warm hello.
She's a special gift to you, Dear Lord from me - who loves her so.
