  aka Science

Because all kids are scientists . . .

they love aka Science, after school classes for elementary kids.

Hands-on activities, lots of individual attention and projects to take home add up to a great time - and a great learning experience. Held after school in elementary schools, taught by teachers in the schools, aka Science provides wholesome experiences with positive role models during the critical after school hours.

The program is designed and produced by Hands On Science Outreach, Inc. Since 1980, this group of dedicated, experienced elementary curriculum experts has pioneered interactive, inquiry-based, informal science education. All materials are selected and screened for play value and safety as well as science content consistent with the National Science Education Standards.

It's easy to set up and administer aka Science in your school(s). Western Washington Area Health Education Center will provide complete training and technical support for teachers and administrative staff. All materials are provided (at a reasonable cost) and we can help find sponsors for low income students.
