R/UOE  The Rural/Underserved Observation Experience (R/UOE) program provides an opportunity for prematriculated medical students to be placed with a preceptor in a rural or underserved clinical site in Western Washington. Read more

 

R/UOP  The Rural/Underserved Opportunities Program  provides an opportunity for University of Washington students between the first and second years of medical school to be placed with a preceptor in a rural or underserved clinical site in Western Washington. Read more

 

Dental R/UOP  The Dental Rural/Underserved Opportunities Program  provides an opportunity for University of Washington Dentistry students between the first and second years of dental school to be placed with a preceptor in a rural or underserved clinical site in Western Washington. Read more

 

RUN  The Rural Urban Nursing Outreach Program provides an opportunity for senior nursing students at Seattle Central Community College to gain insight and knowledge of community resources while partially fulfilling their obstetrics rotation. Read more

 

Preceptor and Site Resources Information for preceptor hosts and intern sites about the programs and articles of interest. Page still under construction; will include Project HOPE site applications.

 

Other Health Professional Rotations  As resources permit, Western Washington Area Health Education Center assists other students in locating rural and underserved rotations. Please contact WWAHEC for more information about an individualized experience.
