NOTES from TEXT All the children were born
in Siegen and baptized in the Reformed Church. Only the
youngest (Theiß) appears in the church register, which was started shortly before
his birth. All the sons became shoemakers like the father
(Ambrosius), except for Johannes, who became a tanner
(Löher). Johannes, Balthasar and Theiß established their residences in
Dillenburg; Henrich went to Herborn , after the plague faded away, and
became the progenitor of the tanner and paper-maker branches of the JÜNGST family.
