BOULDER COUNTY RFP EVALUATION COMMITTEE FOR VOTING SYSTEMS AGENDAMarch 15, 2006 9:00 A.M.
ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS:
9:30 A.M.
HART DEMONSTRATION
The Committee may at any time vote to have an executive session pursuant to C.R.S. §24-6-402(4):
(a) The purchase, acquisition, lease, transfer, or sale of any real, personal, or other property interest; except that no executive session shall be held for the purpose of concealing the fact that a member of the local public body has a personal interest in such purchase, acquisition, lease, transfer, or sale;
(b) Conferences with an attorney for the local public body for the purposes of receiving legal advice on specific legal questions. [Mere presence or participation of an attorney at an executive session of the local public body is not sufficient];
(c) Matters required to be kept confidential by federal or state law or rules and regulations. THE LOCAL PUBLIC BODY SHALL ANNOUNCE THE SPECIFIC CITATION OF THE STATUTES OR RULES THAT ARE THE BASIS FOR SUCH CONFIDENTIALITY BEFORE HOLDING THE EXECUTIVE SESSION.
(d) Specialized details of security arrangements or investigations;
(e) Determining positions relative to matters that may be subject to negotiations; developing strategy for negotiations; and instructing negotiators;
(f) Personnel matters except if the employee who is the subject of the session has requested an open meeting, or if the personnel matter involves more than one employee, all of the employees have requested an open meeting... . (g) Consideration of any documents protected by the mandatory nondisclosure provisions of part 2 of article 72 of this title, commonly known as the “Open Records Act”;
(h) Discussion of individual students where public disclosure would adversely affect the person or persons involved. OTHER MATTERS UNTIL OFFICIALLY ADJOURNED
· MEETINGS TAKE PLACE AT THE BOULDER COUNTY CLERK & RECORDER’S OFFICE (HOUSTON ROOM) 1750 33rd Street, Boulder, Colorado 80301 UNLESS ANOTHER LOCATION IS SPECIFIED.
· ANYONE NEEDING AN ACCOMODATON UNDER THE AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT SHOULD CONTACT PEGGY JACKSON AT 303-441-3508 AT LEAST 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE OF THE MEETING, IF POSSIBLE.
· Agendas for these meetings will be posted in the lobby of the Clerk & Recorder’s Office, 1750 33rd St., Boulder, CO 80301; and in the first floor lobby of the Boulder County Courthouse, 1325 Pearl St. at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting.
