Description: They look like small square ticks with plate armor. They vary in color from black, green, to brown and individual ticks can grow up to 2 inches.
Host Type: Humanoids and intelligent beings of all kinds, except M.D.C. creatures, creatures of magic and the supernatural
Hit points: Each small symbiote has 1 M.D.C.tm but they cover the host and provide them with 3D6 x 10 M.D.C.tm. They are effectively part of the host so as they host becomes more powerful so do they, add 10 M.D.C.tm per level.
Average life span: two years, but becomes equal to the lifespan of the host because they are constantly reproducing and replacing dead one's.
Alignment: Not Applicable
Reproduction: When they find a new host they reproduce at an amazing rate. They reproduce constantly until they completely cover the host's body which takes 1D4 days. After this they reproduce only once every two years with each producing two offspring all of which leave the host body searching for a new host. They also reproduce in order to replace those which may have been killed due to combat damage or old age, this is how the symbiotic armor regenerates damage.
Cost: Sold for 8 to 12 million credits

Natural Abilities: They provide the host with 3D6 x 10 M.D.C.tm plus 10 M.D.C.tm per level. This living armor can regenerate itself through reproduction at the rate of 1D6 x 10 M.D.C.tmper day.

Side Effects: Adds 45 lbs in weight, reduce P.P. by 2, P.B. by 3, P.E. by 3 and S.P.D. by 6. In addition the host is -15% to prowl and climb. They feed of the hosts blood which causes fatigue (the -3 P.E.) but this will not kill the host. What is truly deadly is the fact that they feed primarily on white blood cells and make the host very vulnerable to disease's and toxins, -4 save vs. poisons and toxins. They will eventually cause the host to die because of the weakened immune system but takes 2D4 + 2 years.
Means of Elimination: If caught early it can be removed with little trouble. If however it has covered the body removal pose's a serious health risk. There is a 60% chance that the host will die of blood loss and shock because they must be removed in one day or they will begin to reproduce. In addition surgery will produce major scarring minus 2D4+2 to P.B..
