This section contains information that GMs should find useful in expanding
the scope of their game and in the variety of characters possible.
Text Directories:
Information:
- Hand to Hand Combat: More hand
to hand combat forms to give your characters variety, plus some hand to hand combat notes that included advanced combat abilities and
conversions for the damage from different attacks for super strong creatures!
- Mutant Traits: I have greatly
expanded on those found in the books. These can even be used to create alien life forms.
- Machine Merging: Generalized bonues gained by
mental interface with a machine, whether by cybernetic implant, Telemechanics,
or Mechano-Link.
- Touch of Power: Notes and a table
with information on giving your Rifts® style characters a little boost.
- Perception: The perception rule
is very useful, but not everyone has the money for the Nightbane® book. You might
also be interested in a perception attribute
that Stan Bundy came up with.
- Mediation Skill: A 'universal' version of the
skill combining elements from Rifts®, Nightbane®, and Mystic
Chinatm.
- Attribute Rolls: Info for
doing d20 rolls using attributes plus a way to perform skills w/o training,
courtesy of Ben Williams.
- PETs: Penetration Exploration Tools, a great
file on creating animal companions.
Downloads:
- Skills for a Fantasy Campaign: I was sent a
file of skills useful in a fantasy setting. To send credit where it deserves to go,
e-mail Lee Mitchell.
- The Coalitiontm Sourcebook
I: has skill updates, lots of new engineering skills, updated and new OCCs,
vehicle combat rules, weapon failure, CS departments, history excerpts,
new Glitter Boystm and updated robots and power
armor, and weapons (vibro-weapons have costs associated with them now). I have
put it into a .ZIP package (171k). E-mail James
Bennett of Unlimited Gamestm and tell
him what you thought.
- Rifts® Australia: is also avaliable in
ASCII text as a .ZIP package (44k). This one got sent in by
Adam Mansbridge, an Australian
(kind of fitting, isn't it?) It has descriptions of empires/governments, lots
of machinery and weapons, the Aborigines! There's also several O.C.C.s and
Aborigine earth magic! This is good info for GMs who want to toss characters
into an unfamiliar setting. Enjoy it!
