Triaxtm industries and the NGRtm,
after repeated conflicts with the Mindwerkstm
enhanced Brodkill and the newly-armed Gargoyle armies, began a series of
projects to find a way to make a soldier that could easily compete with the
speed and ferocity of the enhanced demons. Some projects researched the
re-writing of human dna to create M.D.C.tm
humans with supernatural strength, but such work is ever easily done, and
is currently still in the research stage. Other projects, with this human
advancement in mind, looked to the Juicers of Germany, who already had super
reflexes and speed, but lacked the M.D.C.tm
or strength of their opponents. Realizing this, the projects began developing
a newer, faster power armor that would help the juicers overcome this handicap,
giving them M.D.C.tm body armor as well as
robotic strength and a few minor weapons. Unfortunately, the lightness of
the armor prohibits excessive augmentation, so bonuses are lower than some
other robots and power armors. Of course, the juicers themselves make up for
this handicap with their own inhuman speed and reflexes. The design of the
J-21 is similar to the T-21 or the TC-20 Hopper Power Armors, with some
small changes made so that it would be fast enough for the speed-addicted
Juicers.

* The head is -3 to strike due to its small size. Destruction of the main
body will destroy the power armor. Destruction of the jet pack prevents
power leaping.
** Destroying the main body of the armor renders it inoperative and in need
of extensive repairs.
Speed:
Running: Characters running speed is TRIPLED! Average running speed
is an incredible 150mph!
Leaping: A height of 50ft upwards or lengthwise is possible unassisted
by the thrusters. A thruster assisted leap goes 300ft up
or lengthwise without requiring a running start.
Power Jumping and Travelling: Similar to the T-21: up to 450ft length-
wise, average height of a controlled power jump generally
between 20 and 50ft. Maximum ground speed via power leaps is
an amazing 300mph!
Limited Flight: Not possible, the J-21 thrusters are purely for leaping.

Power System: Nuclear, average life is 10 years. The Juicers don't
last as long.
Black Market Cost: 1 million for a new, undamaged unit. Poor availibility.
Sensors and Optics:
The helmet is equipped with full optical systems, including laser targeting,
telescopic sight, passive nightvision, thermo-imaging, infrared, ultraviolet,
and polarization. Also has all other optics common to Power Armor.
Weapon Systems:
Left Arm/Forearm Laser: Mounted on the left arm is a light
laser cannon.
Purpose: Assault
Range: 2000ft
Damage: 4d6 M.D.C.tm per blast
Rate of Fire: Equal to the total number of attacks of the pilot.
Payload: Effectively unlimited.
Right Arm/Vibro-blade: A favorite weapon of the Juicers who have tried
the armor.
Purpose: Assault
Range: Melee
Damage: 4d6 M.D.C.tm slash
Rate of Fire: Equal to the total number of attacks of the pilot.
M.D.C.tm: Unlimited when activated.
The Juicer is +1 to parry with the blade, even when parrying energy blasts!
(only a Juicer could)
Payload: Effectively unlimited
Hand to Hand Combat: Rather than use the blade or laser, the J-21
can use its speed to engage in devastating hand to hand combat!

Power Punch - 1d6x10 M.D.C.tm (counts as two attacks)

Thruster Kick * - 2d6x10 M.D.C.tm (counts as
three attacks)
* The Thruster Kick is done by leaping 10-20 feet in the air, igniting the
thrusters, rocketing downward at your opponent, and slamming both feet into
their chest. Opponents under 15 ft tall are knocked off their feet, lose one
attack, and lose initiative for the next round. This must be the first attack
of the Juicer in the round in which it is done.
Other Weapons: The J-21 can also use any hand-held weapons, such as
rail guns and plasma ejectors. Standard weapon is the Triax T-42 pulse rifle.
Bonuses: The J-21 does NOT get bonuses from power armor combat elite. It has
been stripped down so much for speed that it is more like a glorified body
armor. As such, the pilot gets the following natural bonuses with no skill
proficiencies. Note that Weapons Systems is required to use any of the weapons.
+2 dodge
+1 to strike
+2 to strike with lasers and blade
+5 to leap dodge (no P.P. bonuses, just +5, but uses no attacks to use)
+2 to parry
+3 to parry with blade
+1 additional attack for Juicers who use this system.
NO ADDITIONAL BONUSES AT HIGHER LEVELS.
