Pagan Parenting

Regarding all the links below, it is a bad thing to have a bored Mother on a very hot and muggy August afternoon.  Especially when she doesn’t want to move away from the fan and do other things.  So, she surfed the net to find links for an article on Raising Pagan Children.  Boy, did I view a lot of piffle.  But I did find some gems.  I hope you enjoy the links below.  If you know of any other links, books, or other pagan children’s groups in Minnesota, e-mail me so I can post them here.

Raising Pagan Children (not activated until early December)

        Books:
"The Family Wicca Book" by Ashleen O'Gaea
        "Pagan Parenting" by Kristin Madden.

        Community Groups (Twin Cities):
If you are fortunate enough to live in the Twin Cities area (or at least be somewhat close), then you may want to consider visiting The Moon and Me or the Pagan Children’s Corner groups.   The Moon and Me meets every second Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Evenstar Bookstore (2401 University Avenue W., St. Paul, 651-644-3727).  The Pagan Children’s Corner meets every other Sunday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at 16406 Grenoble Avenue in Lakeville (Annie, 952-431-4043).

There is also a brand new group that has begun: Creative Twin Cities Homeschoolers, a group of home educators who follow an Earth Centered spiritual path. They come together for play dates, field trips, cooperative learning experiences, and support with home schooling issues. They meet in Apple Valley, Bloomington, Burnsville, as well as Minneapolis, St. Paul, and surrounding areas.  For more information, visit their website at:

        http://www.creativehomeschoolers.com.

        E-Groups:

Apple and Oak, a pagan parenting group based in Minnesota; they had a lovely website that they hope will be up and running later.   To join, please contact:
