Excellent Adventure Part 2

So we arrive, settle in and then realize that we need to move immediaty because we chose a hotel in the red light district. Gee, Nice town. Another 30 miles to the good side of town, and we find that, unlike the commercial, they really dont leave the lights on for you. We get Josh some food , then I'm off to see my fiancee. Oh, speaking of fast food, Here in Phoenix ordering food is more like gambling, you drive up, place your order, Roll the dice, then go to the window to see what you actually get. There is a bit of a language barrier here but You get used to it after a while.

Wear you out

The Heat makes you sleepy. We have a few days before the truck arrives ( my primary mission was to help unload ). So we do the tourist thing, get the grand drive around. Buildings, mountians, anything to drink? It sure is hot. When is naptime? We were suffering from jet-lag of sorts, two hour difference fron ND. We found ourselves getting sleepy early and waking up at the crack of dawn. Hey what time is it? About 6 am, oh but hey, its only 98 degrees. A cool morning in the valley of the sun. We go to unload the truck, 105 degrees outside. 5 minutes and your drenched. We finish after a few hours, jump in the pool to cool off and prepare for the trip back home.

Good bye

Its kind of late to be leaving forthe trip home, 2:30 Pm. We decide to go anyways, We have work, Josh has classes at the college campus. Kissy huggy, we leave friends and family ( fiancee ) behind and head north. 2 hours to flagstaff, lunch, then east. We discuss the tight schedule we are on, and estimated arrival times back to the denver area then on home. Hey look! the Meteor Crater!

Do you care now?
