How would it feel for you
To always be
In integrity
When she says you shouldn’t
Could you say you already
have?
When asked if you did your
best
Could you say you should’ve
done better
Tried harder
And all the rest?
Could you tell your friends
How you really are
Or do you have to blow yourself
up
To be Mister Popular?
You’re so easy to see right
through
The only person fooled is
you
Hopefully you’ll grow up
and see
You’re a much better person
