May 10 1874 Camptonville (Weeeds Point) CA d. Sep 30 1934 Chico CA) 1891 in Camptonville CA dau of Charles TURNER and Susann THRAVES. PICTURES (25)-Leannah Elizabeth (Leila) TERHUNE (b. Aug 19 1892) Camptonville CA. Marr Carl EIDSON.-Vera EIDSON ii. Robert Morrison TERHUNE (1841-Jan 30, 1906 Kempt Hants County, N.S). Married (Nov 1, 1866 at Tenne Cape by Rev. J. McLELLAN; witness John Calder) Elizabeth Isabell FERGUSON (d.-Oct. 21, 1908) daughter of William FERGUSON & Christine ROSS (Pioneer). (Both RMT & EIFT buried in the church graveyard at the Kempt Shore.) Family Pictures William FERGUSON was born in Scotland in 1807 and arrived in Nova Scotia in 1828. He worked on the Uniacke farm at Mount Uniacke, N.S. and then purchased part of the Archibald Carr land at Moose Brook about 1839. In 1855 he built a house of sawn lumber. He brought seeds and cuttings from Scotland and it is believed that many orchards of Hants County owe their origins to the Ferguson Orchard (2.) "son Robert M. Terhune marr. Alice Wilcox" (2.)
