Married Alice WILCOX of Kempt, N.S. daughter of Charles Dixon WILCOX (b.c 1855; d. 1931) and Sarah LAKE (1849-1933) m. Dec. 6 1873 sister of Henry LAKE. Alice was the first of 11 children. She marr. (2) ....DROWNE.(3.) The following is from the Spokesman Review, Spokane, WA, Feb 19, 1911. "LEAP FROM WINDOW KILLS HOTEL GUEST. M.A. Terhune Succumbs to Injuries Received at Coeur D'Alene Hostelry Monday. As a result of a broken back, sustained last Monday when, suffering with hallucinations, he jumped out of a third story window and down the airshaft of the Coeur d'Alene hotel, M.A.Terhune, age 50 years, a carpenter, died yesterday afternoon at Sacred Heart hospital. The man had probably lain for several hours where he had fallen before being found and was taken to the emergency hospital, where he was treated till Friday night. He was then taken to Sacred Heart. No hope was held for his recovery. He is survived by a brother, A.C. Terhune of Greenwood, B.C. The funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Buchanan undertaking rooms, and burial will take place in Fairmount ." (Memorial Park Cem.Spokane, WA). (A.C. Was probably L.C. (perhaps of TB) Unmarried (Buried in the church graveyard at the Kempt Shore.) Picture -George William TERHUNE (Feb 12, 1872-Jan. 26, 1963). Married (11 Nov 1901 in Greenwood) Anna Jessie MOFFATT (Nov 1877-Dec. 28, 1962 age 84) of B.C. Moved back to N.S. sometime around 1908 (mother's death). Must have sold the farm and moved back to B.C. before 1915. Family Pictures -Robert Walter TERHUNE (May 26, 1874- ) born in Tennycape, N.S. of Boston -Ethyl Blanch TERHUNE (Feb 16, 1877-Jan 30,1900) Born in Tennycape, died in Kempt. -Lorne Campbell TERHUNE (Mar 9, 1880-Nov 1, 1923) Born in Tennycape died in Vancouver B.C. Married (May 5, 1910) Hattie Hazel SKELTON of Greenwood B.C. L.C. Lost his sight in a mining accident and later had a store in Greenwood.Hazel later married (2) FENTIMEN.
