(The first names are similar, perhaps Nevine is her mother's maiden name SJT ). Married 2. Margritie Van SCHYELLEN. "Auckie" mentioned in his will. According to the "Terhune Family Home Page" Jan inherited the family farm on Long Island and built a "fine house with imported tiles from Holland." This house supposedly still stands and was occupied as late as the 1920s (not verified). At one time Jan was the High Sheriff of part of Long Island.(1)
