Based on the traffic registered on my home page there seems to be many who appreciate the outstanding characteristics that a horn loaded driver produces.  Because of the volume of inquiries for dimensional drawings, particularly from Europe where the 210 seems unavailable, I obtained from a now defunct website,  engineering drawings of the 210 cabinet.  As a service to you enthusiasts, skilled cabinetmakers, or foolishly brave do it yourselfers, I have included a copy of the drawings.  The 210 cabinet shown is the later version and accommodates both the “large frame” Altec woofers (e.g. 515C, 515E, 416B) and the earlier “small frame” (most 515B, 416A, 803A).  Altec produced at least one other version of the 210 cabinet that has slightly less width and depth.  The differences are small but because of the reduced width  it may not be possible to bisect the cabinet and produce two halves that each house a 15 or 16  inch woofer frame.  The later version of the 210 cabinet that I have been using is able to take both frame sizes after it has been split..

Please do not expect me to answer your construction questions once you begin building your bass horns.  There simply is no time for me to do this.  If you cannot scratch build these wonderful bass cabinets on your own, you can purchase an already split 210.  Obviously, I have a limited number of these, so act quickly.  The price is $1,100 FOB Minneapolis.  Within the USA shipping costs will probably be about $200.  You are also welcome to buy the raw 210 cabinet for $500.  Generally, you will have to make some of  your own shipping arrangements for the unmodified 210 cabinets but I will attempt to assist you in this.  My email address is mfrye01@yahoo.com.

The cabinets that I have available are all made of  .75” plywood.  There is no delamination of the plys.  They have always been kept in an enclosed space.

Some of the dimensions in the drawings are difficult to read.  The critical dimensions are the side-to-side dimensions in the horn flare.  For your consideration, the dimensions are as follows (in inches):

Distance from woofer mounting baffle board Centerline to horn flare distance
0 4  29/32
4 6  9/32
8 8  3/32
12 10  11/32
16 13  9/32
20 17  3/32
24 21  15/16
29 29  1/4
