First off, I would like to say that you guys along with Corina are the best morning show in radio. I say that because of the amount of social conscience that you guys delve into each week in the Phoenix area as well as all the work you do for the Thomas J Pappas School.
As to the Captain Morgan statutes that were stolen… You keep saying the theft of the statutes were a prank. I beg to disagree. A prank is as you said, “Taking the yard Gnome to the Grand Canyon, taking a picture and then returning both.” A prank is taking the school mascot and putting it in the Dean’s office or on top of the school building. A prank is Kid & Ruben’s phone scams. But someone breaking into a museum and stealing paintings is not a prank it is a crime. So is stealing the Captain Morgan statutes. If a police report was not filed, where would the statues be now? I’m sure that would not have been returned to their rightful owners.
On the other hand, I also believe what you are doing to vacillate the return of the statues to their rightful owners with or without the reward money for the school is also the right thing to do. But please stand up and call a crime a crime.
Come on…Be a man with convictions!

"What's in a name?" Is an age old question asked by many thinkers. But I find the answer very simple; EVERYTHING! And What I don't understand is why many people are ashamed of there moniker. I mean take these stupid entertains for example, Madona wants to be know now as Esther her secret religious name. What secret? Hell, I know it. And what's wrong with Madona? Its a great name. Its the one her father and mother gave to her when she was born. Why does she want to be known as Esther? What is she ashamed of? Oh, wait a minute. I understand now. Have you looked at her career? If I had done the stuff she has done, I would want to change my name also.

Ok, Let's look at some others, Jennifer Lopez shorten her name to JLo. At least she did for awhile, and later she smarten up and asked that she be called Jennifer again. Smart lady.

Prince. Prince becomes a symbol. What an idiot. I think that's what they should have called him, The Idiot that makes music.

Now, the newest one to jump on that bandwagon is Mariah Carey. She held a press conference and  asked everyone to now refer to her as her childhood nickname "Mimi" because that's the real her. What the hell is she talking about? Her name is Mariah not Mimi. Mariah is a beautiful name. So I ask you, what is she ashamed about that she doesn't like her name?

My name. Now I'm very proud of my name, Leopold. Its an ancient name of Kings. It means "People together have the strength of the lion." Now that's cool. Not only that, its my name. It is what I liked to be called. Not Leo, or Lee, or L. Just call me Leopold, and if you don't like that, than you can call me King Leopold.

It friggin amazes me how many liberals complained about how they are not viewed as being patriotic  because they wanted John F'n Kerry to become president. Yet these same people are now crying because George W. was reelected to the White House and are now running around saying how they are now going to move out of this country because of it. Yup, that truly shows their patriotism, ...not! Well, for those who are planning on leaving this beautiful country of ours, I have only this to say: "DON'T LET THE BORDER GATE HIT YOU IN THE ASS ON YOUR WAY OUT!"

Ok, Here it goes. One of the main reasons I started this on-line journal is to try and gain support for myself. I am 280 lbs. Diabetic. Out of shape. And want to change. That Change starts today. My wife and I bought a tread mill and it was delivered last night. Today, I start the ABS diet and begin my work outs which I will post here on line so I can chart my progress. Please wish me luck, pray for me and back slap me with your support.

Long weekend but had a lot of fun. Too much. Today I allowed my wife to talk me into buying her a pooch. Not just any pooch, but a Pekingese. One that you don't get from an animal shelter, but a pet store located in the mall. $1,400.00. Unbelievable! But it made her happy and she really is a very cool dog. At least Harley, Copper, Sugar, Fred & Dino all get along with her. Lucky me, I live in a zoo. Three dogs, three cats and an attitude laden 13yr old.

I've been wanting to start this blog for months but haven't found the right lead to do so until now:

Today I read an article in the Arizona Republic that Target stores across the nation will not allow the Salvation Army to place their Christmas kettles and bell ringers in front of their stores. This means an approximated 9 million dollar loss for the Salvation Army.
The Salvation Army, though a Christian based non-profit operation, is responsible for helping hundreds if not thousands of needy people in every community across the United States without prejudice to race, creed, or religion.
I think it is a shame that Target, a for profit company, will take away from the community, Mine and yours, like that. I have called Target's customer service and logged in my complaint. I have also stated that since they will take away from helping my community by barring the Salvation Army's Christmas kettles and bell ringers, then at this time, they do not need my business and I'll do my Christmas shopping at other places such as Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Kolhs, Costco, Sams and others.
I hope all of you will realize the extent of how much the Salvation Army does in your community and the other communities across the U.S. join in with me by calling Target's customer service at 1-800-440-0680, and letting them know how you feel about it.
