The Lion: My Symbol
The Lion is Strongest Amongst Beast and Turneth Not Away From Any

I did not chose the Lion as my symbol, rather it chose me. I was given the name of my father "Leopold" when I was born (or Leopoldo in Italian and sometimes seen as Leopoldi)  on a cold snowy November day  in Boston, Mass. It is an ancient name of Kings. It means "People together have the strength of the Lion." Thus if a King had the support of his subjects, than no army was able to invade and defeat his kingdom, for he and his people would stand and fight as a Lion. The King of Beast!

Lacrimosa: To Cry?

My grandfather Raffaele Lagrimoso came from a small town outside of Avileno, in Campania provence called Ariano.Located near Mt. Vesuvius near Naples Italy. His Great-great-great grandfather was Count Ciano. Who owned much of the land there and grew a wine which is still a favorite  of locals and tourist today called Lagrimo Christi "The Tears of Christ."
The noble Count was not without his scruples, thus fooling around with a chambermaid, got her pregnet and created our lineage. Since he was in no way going to marry her (beneth his station in life or possible he was already married. Not uncommon for that time period or even today), he thus gave her the last name of "Lagrimoso", thus the beginning of our family.
