From Dan,
"Brian, Bob, John and I did a Brighton Marathonish thing July 14th. We cheated by starting at Mill D rather than Brighton, therefore the second half was net downhill. Also, in the Brighton Bowl, instead of going down to Brighton, coming back up and continuing around to Twin Lakes Pass and along the heinous Big-Little Cottonwood ridge, we skipped Brighton, went straight up from the Lake Mary junction to Catherine's pass, down to Albion Basin and Alta, on down to the Alta Lodge, where the owner, Brian's Friend, sold us some snacks and soda, then over Cardiff Pass and down Cardiff Fork to the Mill D trailhead. Brian's GPS watch measured right around 24 miles.  We finished in a languid 7:40, but that involved frequent scenery stops, a side trip to the top of Clayton Peak for more scenery, a long stop in Alta while we stood in disbelief that the Kick Stand was not open (therefore no ice cream sandwiches), and an even longer stop as we visited at the Alta Lodge. Without race pressure, it is easy to take a lot of time on a nice day in the mountains. The flowers in Albion Basin were sublime."

From Prince Many Dots (aka John Moellmer):
"Did the Brighton Store marathon on July 2nd.  Started at Big Cottonwood at the Blunder Fork Trailhead (Mill D North Fork).  I ran up to Blunder Fork, then took the Wasatch course to Brighton.  Then to Twin Lakes Pass, through the pass, along the ridge, down Silver Fork bowl over to days fork and down to the car again.  I think I lost about a mile or two due to poor GPS coverage."
