The weather was cold with mixed sun, wind, clouds, and snow.  We unluckily missed
better weather by one day.  Saturday was sunny and nice, 55 degrees.
Here are the results of the Foothills Peaks Marathon.  Also, for the Moellmer
Calendar, the Bonneville Shoreline Trail Marathon will be Saturday, March 31, (last
day of Mountain standard time) 8:00 a.m.  The course will be largely the same as last
year's course.  Entry fee is still the low-low price of nothing.

  Cynthia Daniels    8:16

  John Diroll    6:14
  Mike Schlier    6:22
  JohnEagar    6:23
  JimMcGregor    8:16

  Other participants
  Ruth Zollinger
  Laurie Hutchinson
  Kari Jones
  Julie Smith
  Marilee
  Bob Henderson
  Alan Michaels

Cynthia used her home-court advantage to finish first among women, making her the
First Lady.  John Diroll overcame a fifteen minute deficit at the halfway point to finsh
first among the men.  John Eagar edged Mike Schlier for second after the two ran
together for most of the race.  Jim McGregor reported taking a couple of spills along
the way, but, oddly enough, given the eccentricities of the course and sub-perfect
  weather, no complaints were registered.

Thanks to Cynnthia, Ruth, Bob, and Bill Johnson for helping to mark the course on
Saturday, and to Bill Johnson and assorted anonymous helpers for removing ribbons.
