ABOUT THE TOWEL

Ultra microfiber represents the very highest quality microfiber available. All superior quality raw materials are used in the manufacturing process and are a requirement for using the "Ultra Microfiber" designation.

The most common constructions are the "Terry Style" and the "Suede Style." The terry style is best suited for all general cleaning purposes, both domestic and industrial. Suede works best in any "polishing" application, such as eye glasses, sun-glasses (except transitional AIR), all optics and lenses, CDs, computer screens, TV screens, jewelry, coins, leather, and even as a replacement for a chamois to dry off your car. Both of these styles can be used wet or dry, without soap or chemicals.  Chemicals CAN be used with microfiber, but usually they are not needed.

Unlike ordinary cleaning towels that move or push dirt and dust from one place to another, microfiber actually "scrapes" the dirt or stain from the surface, and then stores the dirt particles in the towel, until it is washed.

When using the microfiber towel wet, it is important to wring out the towel before beginning the cleaning process. If the towel is too wet, it may leave streaks on surfaces you are cleaning.

CARE OF MICROFIBERS
If the towel becomes too soiled, it will also begin to "streak". It is then time to wash the towel. This is easily done by just placing the towel (or any other microfiber cleaning product) into a washing machine and then washing with your favorite soap or detergent. The only restriction in the wash cycle is to NEVER use any type of FABRIC SOFTENER. The towel will treat the fabric softener as if it were soil. It will try to store the tiny particles of the softener in the towel fibers and may cause the towel to be less effective.

WHAT IS MICROFIBER?
Microfiber is a man-made product that is best used in cleaning applications by combining two basic fibers, Polyester and Polyamide (a nylon by-product.) These fibers are then "split" and formed into a blend of 80% Polyester (the scrubbing and cleaning fiber), and 20% Polyamide (the absorbing and quick drying fiber.)
In written form, this blend is expressed as "80/20." There are approximately 90,000 microfibers in one square inch of a microfiber towel. A single strand of microfiber is so small that it is almost invisible to the naked eye.

Business and families have been enjoying the many benefits for over ten years.

Take a close look at the photo above. This is an actual microphotograph of a cross section of one strand of microfiber. It would take 90,000 microfibers to fill the space that an inch of this photograph occupies! Consider the fact that one square yard of a microfiber cleaning towel, if torn apart and the fibers laid end-to-end, would reach from Miami, Florida to Minneapolis, Minnesota!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the difference between "terry" and "suede"?

"Terry" is the designation of our larger towels used for cleaning and polishing most surfaces. Terry towels come in three lengths of nap--short, medium, and plush.

"Suede" is the name of our small towels that have a much finer and smoother weave and are used for cleaning eyeglasses and similar small, delicate surfaces.

I see you have three lengths of nap: short, medium, and plush.  What is the difference in use, or the reason for, various lengths of nap?

The name of the towel line is Ultra, which is also the name of the most economically priced towel. The Ultra is our standard towel with short nap and is used for ordinary cleaning and polishing applications that do not require a great amount of absorbency. It is excellent for cleaning homes and offices, and for cleaning and grooming pets and horses.

The Magnum is the medium priced towel with medium length nap for cleaning and drying applications that require a somewhat softer fiber with more absorbency, such as cleaning and polishing automobiles. It can be used for most cleaning job.

The Supreme is the highest priced towel with long nap for cleaning and drying applications that require the most absorbency.  It is a softer towel and is excellent for delicate jobs or cleaning projects involving a great amount of water or other liquids.
