An air/oil separator removes oil vapor from the air,
before it is fed back into the intake manifold, for
combustion.
I got the hose and connectors from Summit
Racing
and the Stef's can from Hot
Rods Speed and Custom.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because of the Whipple air intake, places to mount the
can are limited. After much deliberation, I decided on
mounting the can to an "L" bracket and mounting the
bracket, to the air filter housing.
I used oil/gas resistant hose and ran it down to the
frame rail, so I can drain the oil with a valve.
There isn't much more to say, so I'll let the pics,
take it from here.....

Update: It works....
It's been about a month since installing the catch can
and it
just so happens, that it's now time to change the engine
oil (just hit 5,000 miles). So while I'm down there,
I'm
going to open up the drain valve and see how much oil
has
collected so far.
I love this valve! It made draining the oil from the catch can, a piece of cake....
It's hard to judge the amount of oil from the pic, but
it's probably
about 1-2 tablespoons.
Any oil that's in the cup, is oil that's NOT going into the combustion chambers.
