Comparison Kits

The Comparison Kits contain a combination of YBa2Cu3O7 and Bi2Sr2Ca2Cu3O10 superconductors, allowing the experimenter to compare and contrast the properties of these two superconducting materials.

K11 - Levitation Comparison Kit $84.00

Using the included YBa2Cu3O7 and Bi2Sr2Ca2Cu3O10 superconductors, you can perform a superb comparison of the Meissner Effect of the two materials. Two rare-earth magnets and a pair of non-magnetic tweezers are included with this kit.

K12 - Critical Temperature Comparison Kit $165.00

Using the included YBa2Cu3O7 and Bi2Sr2Ca2Cu3O10 superconductors, you can compare the Meissner Effect of the two materials. Then, with the two included thermocouple probes (one containing a YBa2Cu3O7 disk, and the other a Bi2Sr2Ca2Cu3O10 disk), you can compare their critical temperatures! Four rare-earth magnets and a pair of non-magnetic tweezers are included with this kit.

K15 - Super Exploration Kit $255.00

A Complete YBa2Cu3O7 vs. Bi2Sr2Ca2Cu3O10 comparison kit, the Super Exploration Kit contains two one-inch superconductors (one of each material), two Four-Point Probes (one of each material), two rare-earth magnets, and non-magnetic tweezers for safe handling.
