The Demonstration Kits provide an excellent
introduction to superconductivity. Available experiments include Meissner
Effect (levitation), Flux-Pinning (suspension), and measurement of the
Critical Temperature.
| K1 - Levitation Kit

This is our most basic demonstration kit containing a one-inch
diameter superconductor disk and rare-earth magnet for
demonstration of the Meissner Effect. Non-magnetic tweezers are
also included for safe handling. |
| K1-B - Levitation Kit
(Bismuth) |

Identical to the Levitation Kit above, except that the included
one-inch diameter superconductor disk is made from a Bismuth-based
material, which has a measurably higher critical temperature than
the Yttrium-based superconductor. |

Measuring the Critical Temperature is easy with the thermal
probe included in this kit. Also included are the one-inch
diameter superconductor disk, rare-earth magnet and non-magnetic
tweezers for Meissner Effect demonstration. |

Identical to the Critical Temperature Kit
above, except that the included superconductor disk and probe are
made from the Bismuth-based material, which has a measurably
higher critical temperature than the Yttrium based
superconductor. |

actually be suspended below the included high
