Mailing Tips
below are B+P instructions i wrote up,
later i found some very
detailed instructions written up by someone else
here.
B+P Guidelines
-
in the package you send to me, include...
- another envelope with the postage already on it
- the blank discs for me to record on
after i record the discs, i'll place them in the envelope you provided,
seal it, and drop it off at the post office,
i should have nothing more to do than that!
-
Send decent discs capable of burning at 16x
i'll not be responsible for making coasters if you send me poor quailty discs
(no memorex,
no maxell,
no compusa or other store brands,
no generics,
no taiwanese-produced,
etc). if you're worried about the quality of your discs,
mail extras and i'll return them if they weren't needed
(maybe with a gift burned on em).
-
Contact me before you send any discs
unsolicited b+p discs will not be accepted
and will be returned to you at your expense

mailing tips
probably the best way to mail b+p's is to put the cds in caselogic pro-sleeves,
put them in a photomailer (a 5 4/3" x 8" cardboard envelope), get that
weighed and affixed with stamps, then put that in a 6" x 9" envelope, and
have that weighed, stamped, and mailed.
mailing in jewel cases is impractical because it weighs too much and the
cases always break.
plain bubble envelopes aren't as sturdy as
photomailers, but i've never had a problem with either type of envelope.
i have had problems with fiber particle envelopes -
that dust gets everywhere no matter how careful you are with the envelope -
then it gets in your burner and fries it.
do not use fiber particle envelopes.
as i've stated above, please mail good discs.
i know everyone has their own preferences, but please stick to
the generally-accepted name brands, sony, fuji, tdk, taiyo yudens, verbatim.
just make sure they are not taiwanese!.
i extract using exact audio copier, then burn using nero.
i burn at 16x,
so please send discs that are capable of speeds of at least 16x.
