mailing tips

probably the best way to mail b+p's is to put the cds in caselogic pro-sleeves, put them in a photomailer (a 5 4/3" x 8" cardboard envelope), get that weighed and affixed with stamps, then put that in a 6" x 9" envelope, and have that weighed, stamped, and mailed.

mailing in jewel cases is impractical because it weighs too much and the cases always break.

plain bubble envelopes aren't as sturdy as photomailers, but i've never had a problem with either type of envelope. i have had problems with fiber particle envelopes - that dust gets everywhere no matter how careful you are with the envelope - then it gets in your burner and fries it. do not use fiber particle envelopes.

as i've stated above, please mail good discs. i know everyone has their own preferences, but please stick to the generally-accepted name brands, sony, fuji, tdk, taiyo yudens, verbatim. just make sure they are not taiwanese!.

i extract using exact audio copier, then burn using nero. i burn at 16x, so please send discs that are capable of speeds of at least 16x.
