A series of tools for various DDS products shows the durability of the DDS tooling method. Fiberglass audio horns are carefully laid up layer by layer on tools like these then cured to produce an untrimmed part.
"First Chop" cures on the tools in the "Gooland" area of the DDS Audio Horn factory.
After "Second Chop" the horns cure overnight under heat before final trimming and drilling on a CNC machine. The DDS method of horn manufacture includes our exclusive filament wound throat-flange section which is unsurpassed in the industry for strength and durability.
