People often want to know about me - The owner of Distinguished Nannies. Really, I'm an ordinary person - Just trying to put out extraordinary efforts to help nannies and families come together for the sake of the children.
Growing up in a small community here in Washington, I was the "neighborhood babysitter", I opened my very own day care at age 15 and continued caring for children throughout my early years. Attending college for teaching and early childhood education, I knew that I wanted to work with children and help them in every way I could. I worked in daycare (as many do starting out). I graduated up to being a nanny and fell in love with the profession. Since becoming a nanny, I became a mother. To my darling little boy. 5 months after his birth, looking for a new family, I realized the need for making that Absolutely Perfect Match. Having come from both worlds: Nanning and Parenting, I feel that no one else could know what makes that absolutely perfect match that is so crucial to the well being of the CHILDREN. I am very proud to be the owner of such a wonderful company. I plan to continue building this company yet stay on a personal level with each and every client. Afterall, I came from a small town where everyone knows your name and Distinguished Nannies will continue to have a small town feel in the midst of this big city around us.
