On-line Store

This is a Navajo Indian sandpainting of the "Four Frogs", made during the ceremony called the "Water Way" chant.

At the top is the black frog of the east. At the bottom is the gray frog of the west. The white stripes down their backs are the dawn lights with white kernels of corn (white dots). The south frog is yellow and the white frog is of the north. Different colors of kernels of corn dot their bodies. Rainbow bars surrounding the frogs are their protection.

At the center is the black lake with rainbow bars and rainbow stripe surrounding it. From the lake sprouts four sacred corn plants.
