This is a Navajo Indian Sandpainting of the Black Wind Deity. Made during the four days and five nights curative ceremony called "The Wind Way" chant.

His cap is of the black flint rocks with an eagle plume.

White forehead denotes conscience.

Yellow chin line denotes corn pollen path.

Lightnings decorate the torso, forearms and calves for power and strength.

He carries lightning arrows and a multi-colored cloud formation.

The arm streamers, and sash are of the rainbows.

His feet are the black clouds, with red streaks of the sunset rays.
