Talking God

This is a Navajo Indian sandpainting of the Soft Talker. Made during the ceremony called the "Night Way" chant.

His head dress consist of eight eagle tail feathers, with six owl plumes.

Yellow chin line denote corn pollen path.

Arm streamers and sash are of the rainbows.

The feet are of the black clouds.

He carries a tree squirrel skin bag for corn meal offering, on a rainbow twine.

This painting is all hand done out of pulverized natural colored sand stones, silicon, and mineral rocks.

To clean; douse with running cold water and stand to drip dry.
