Influences and Heroes

Jazz boxes, hollow bodies, archtops, mail order catalog refugees, feedback generators.... From the upper right:

Kay hollow body with added Dean Markey pickup. This the sort of guitar tha was sold by US mail order catalogs up until the 70's. This one's still in playable condition.

Epiphone Emperor II (AKA "Joe Pass model"). This is a nice looking and playing modern Korean made jazz guitar.

Montgomery Wards thinline hollow body, probably made my Kay as well. I bought this at a flea market quite a few years ago. It actually has a decent jazz sound. My first electric guitar.

Music Man RD112. My main clean amp. Solid state preamp, tube power amp. From the company that Leo Fender started up aftger he sold Fender to CBS.

Aria Pro II "sort of ES-345 copy". Has a center block, so it's only semi-hollow and is a 3/4 the size of a real Gibson. But it plays nice.
