Local Services and Providers for the Homeless, Needy, and Emergencies The links on this page will take you to several pages containing listings of Service providers in the Phoenix-Metro area, who provide numerous services including: shelter, food, transportation, rent/mortgage/utility assistance, job placement, vocational rehab, substance abuse counseling and rehab. I haven't attempted to categorize the various institutions because there is a great deal of overlap in the services provided from group to group and many of them offer a wide array of diverse services. Most of the listings have a short statement attached that describes the primary services offered by the respective organizations. These statements aren't all inclusive, by any means, but should serve to give some small direction to the seeker. The only section that has been directly categorized is in the area of "Vocational Rehabilitation". These organizations are directly involved in training and job placement. While I have striven to present current data on the organizations presented here, data tends to have a rather limited "shelf-life", and any of the information presented could become obsolete at any time.
