Welcome to the Mole Hole!
It's been a while since I've updated this page, but I've been spending
most of my time working on a website for APS
Quest Academy. That's the school where I teach 4th grade.
I've spent a considerable amount of time developing a website for parents,
students, and anyone else interested in learning more about the school.
I hope you will visit it sometime!
There's also a website that I've
discovered to help establish online communications between
parents, students, and teachers. It's called k12
Nation.net and parents with an Internet connection at home can access
my classroom page to find out important dates, upcoming field trips, and
email me through a secure format that only myself and my students can use.
Check it out, it's worth a look!

I've also added a new page all
about the 50s. If you ever wanted to surf the web to see what the hep-cats
and daddios are doing, check it out! GO
TO FIFTIES PAGE NOW!!
This is a website dedicated to the
motto: "We ALL have something in common"
Here you will find pages and links
related to the things that interest me, either personally or professionally,
in the hopes that you might find something of interest to YOU, too!
The pages are separated by topic.
The websites listed are those that I've found to be helpful. So get
your hand on that mouse and EXPLORE!!
PROFESSIONAL
LIFE: Elementary Education
-
ATTENTION
TEACHERS:Here you'll find items related to teaching. I teach
4th grade students, and have found it to be quite the challenge!
If you are a teacher yourself, you may want to check out some of the websites
related to education. You'll find lots of valuable ideas, lesson
plans, and thematic units that can help you find just what you are looking
for.
-
PARENTS
AND STUDENTS: If you are a parent, there's some links to
school districts, including the one I work for, Aurora Public Schools,
in Aurora, Colorado. Through APS, you can visit other websites created
by schools in our district. For students, there's some websites that
you can visit to help with homework, or do research. You'll also
find some places that are just plain cool to visit, for parents AND students.
PERSONAL
LIFE: Ah, so much to share!
-
TRAVEL
PAGES: We took a 10-day trip to Europe in May. Thanks to
the Internet, we were able to find exactly where we wanted to stay
in Germany and Belgium. We also found some good resources for fellow
travelers. You can find airfares, currency converters, Eurail Pass
information, and other goodies that can help make your next trip easier.
You can also link to the Photo Page to see pictures from our trip.

PHOTO
PAGE: Here you'll find pictures from our trip to Europe.
Follow us from country to country as we tour Holland, Germany, Paris, Belgium,
and London. All aboard!! You can also link to view pictures
of my students enjoying their Price is Right party, or see Leah and I at
home with our kitties.
-
BASEBALL
PAGE: Baseball has always been my favorite sport. If you are
a baseball fan, or you want to learn more about the game, check out my
baseball page. There's something for everyone!
-
ANIMATION
STATION: Are you a fan of animation? Have you been watching cartoons
ever since you were a kid? Me, too! On my animation page, you'll
find links to some great cartoons, including The Simpsons, my favorite!!
I love all things Simpson, and have spent time finding some of the best
websites for Simpsons fans. Enjoy!
Not only am I a Simpsons fan, but
I've got a brother who just finished working on an animated movie for Dreamworks
called "Chicken
Run", starring the voice of Mel Gibson. The movie is the
creation of Aardman Animations, the
folks who brought you Wallace and Grommet. Check out their website and
learn more about Aardman and his wacky cast of characters!
