Old Work

Because my style has changed quite a bit over the years, and because the original page was getting quite large, I thought it might be a good idea to split it up.  So, without further ado:

Anchisaurus polyzelus:  This is just pencil.  I like the long, rounded build of this animal.

Thescelosaurus neglectus:  You knew this had to be coming, right?  This is taken from a larger drawing depicting a group of Thescelosaurus.  You can easily see the long, low, pointy true head of this animal (compare to the shorter stand-in skull used on museum mounts made before the discovery of the real thing).  Being more interested in the actual animals, I'm not much on backgrounds (something I should probably work on).  Basically, these two are standing on a dinosaur-shadowed flat rock.

Torvosaurus tanneri:  There's a good dose of speculation in this one, as the animal it portrays is only partially known (also, the hands are probably oriented incorrectly).  It turned out rather long and lean, partially due to the shortness of the pelvic elements.

Arrhinoceratops brachyops:  Although the body of this ceratopid is not known, it is pretty much impossible to tell one ceratopid from another without the head, so I have used a generic body.  I drew it with vertical forelimbs, which looks less and less likely as time passes.  One day I'll have to do one with semi-sprawled forelimbs just for contrast.

Sauropelta edwardsorum: In case you just couldn't get enough of the original version, and would have had a hard time sleeping if it was gone forever, here it is.
