MatchBook Products LLC. (www.matchbookdrive.com) announced today that they are now accepting orders for their popular MatchBookDrive™ Adapter from international purchasers.

The MatchBookDrive™ Adapter is a passive adapter that fits into the Springboard slot of a Visor and allows files to be copied from the RAM (random access memory) of the Visor to a Compact Flash card for storage. When the file is needed, it can be copied back into RAM in just a few seconds. The MatchBookDrive™ Adapter is the world’s first commercially-available Springboard to CompactFlash adapter.

The MatchBookDrive™ Adapter relies on the FAFileMover software sold by Kopsis, Inc. (www.kopsisengineering.com) which it sells for $10 through the Kopsis website, or for $12 through PalmGear (www.palmgear.com). On February 1, 2001 VisorCentral (www.visorcentral.com) published a review of the MatchBookDrive™ Adapter and the FAFileMover software.

Since January 24, 2001, MatchBook Products has been taking pre-orders for the MatchBookDrive™ Adapter from purchasers in the U.S. Now international purchasers can order the adapter. International purchasers will be responsible for any customs or excise taxes levied in their country, and will be responsible to clear customs themselves. Orders can be placed using PayPal or a money order.
