The six sections that follow detail the design and construction of one of my favorite toys, my small robot, Dohn Joe. This project has been challenging and even frustrating at times dealing with out of spec components. All said and done, this has been one of the more enjoyable projects I've worked on in recent times.

This first section contains an overview of the scope of work for the entire project. Here the mechanical components are all visible.
The electrical components are visible here along with some of the sensors. The 9 PCBAs shown on this page were made by me over the course of many many months. Finally, here the reader can review some of the comercial circuit assemblies that I'll be using in amongst the boards I've developed.
This section shows some of the assembly photos as the project progresses. The reconfigured robot shows how the small bot's parts are being re-organized into a fleet of new smaller robots.
