Your New Crewmember and You

Every so often, a ship's captain gets a new crewmember beaming aboard. This can be a challenge to the new officer as well as to the existing crew. We have finally been cleared to present to our Terran viewers a linkup to see an approved Real Audio clip. You can only see it on TARG TV.

Ensign Krad and Ensign Krudd, the helm officer, fight over the star charts while truly awful music plays throughout the ship. The challenge: To navigate to Federation Starbase 1 in a stressful situation. When the ship arrives, the music ends.

 

The Anonymous Warrior tells Captain Kring how relaxing the music is. But then, the pain starts in and he clutches his ears and dies horribly. His dying word was "Rosebud."

Captain Kring doesn't like it when his officers lie to him. The Voice Over just informed him that there is no Federation Starbase 1. Ensign Krad claims to have found it. His excuse? The first starship couldn't have been built on a base, it had to have been built on a planet. So he navigated to the Federation homeworld, Earth. Ensign Krudd is trying to break up the fight.

1) Give your new crewmember a chance. Always check credentials.

2) Don't set impossible tasks. Always verifty skill.

3) Expect the unexpected. Don't listen to ex-voice overs.
