Photo Contest Winner!

The first place winning photo prize
goes to Sharon Venable. These 3
week old green wing macaws
stold the show!

Amazingly this prize winning
picture was the first snap shot of
the very first entry. Beginners
luck, I guess!

The prizes for winning included a
bird frame for the picture, a
calendar made of the 12 entries in
the contest and a bird trophy. We
are also looking into entering it
into other contests. (Bird Talk)

2nd Place goes to Angie Karakey.
This picture of a Gouldian sitting
in the entry way of a gourd nest is
brilliant. This entry brought in
many outside votes. (from none
club members) We love getting
the website out to all friends and
relatives in this manner. Thanks
Angie! Great Job!

I believe this character won by
longevity. This guy won as the
oldest participant. The caption "in
dog years, I'm 250 years old."
kept us doing the math. His
owner, Mary Hoke, is doing
something right. Congratulations,
Mary!

The photo contest was a huge success. We
received many entrees. The votes were spread out
among all of the pictures.
