I ignored all equipment.
You can get strength from items, thus freeing you to put more points into dexterity.
You can get dexterity from items, thus adding to your overall damage.
You can get explicit additions to minimum and maximum damage.
Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
In general, all of these will improve the damage on all bows.
Obviously this isn't uniform (e.g., you can pump dex by 1,000 and not get a lot of damage out of a short bow), but I haven't done a sensitivity analysis to see how much these favor one bow over another.
