Hello everyone, my name is David Lamb.  I was born and raised in the small town of Durham, Ontario, Canada.  I received a Bachelor of Arts in English and History from Queen's University in Kingston in 1987.  At the same time I received a Bachelor of Education which qualified me to teach English and Social Studies at the high school level.  My first job was as a high school English and Social Studies teacher at the Universal American School in Kuwait, a position I held until 1990.  Due to the Iraqi invasion and occupation of Kuwait, I spent the 1990-91 school year at the Tarsus American College in Tarsus, Turkey (birthplace of the Apostle Paul).  Following the liberation of Kuwait, I returned to teach at the American International School.  While working there I met Tessa Pedotto of Tempe, Arizona.  We were married in 1996.
In 1997 we moved to Caracas, Venezuela where we worked at the Colegio Internacional de Caracas. While we lived in Venezuela we experienced the birth of our son, Brendan, in 1999.  In June of 2000 we moved to our home in Chandler, Arizona where we intend to "stay put" at least for a little while.  In January of 2002 our family got a little larger with the arrival of our twin sons, Collin and Garrett.
I first became interested in genealogy while I was still in high school.  I guess it was just a precursor to my job as a history teacher.  With the advent of the modern age of communications I found that researching our collective family tree had become much easier.  What is more, these systems of communications make it easy for me to share this information as well.  I hope you enjoy the information that you find at these sites.
