Sunday June 18 - Beaver Ranch Open Space Park, Conifer, CO
- This outing will be at a picnic area near the Open Space. Please
contact Teri for further directions
There is a 3-acre off-leash dog park at Beaver Ranch for you to let
the beasties run, and maybe 7 miles of hiking trails (on-leash) in
the park area. Also there is a kids playground with jungle-gym.

Sunday October 22 - Annual RMLC Fall Picnic
- Genesee Mountain Park. More details to follow. This well-attended event was
a blast last year, with everything from bobbing for apples (ok, that didn't go
over so well with the dogs) to pumpkin fetching contests (much better). Plan
on attending this event!

Other activities of doggy interest...
The High Country Newfoundland club will hold two Water Rescue Trials this summer.
These are always fun to watch and pick up ideas. Due to the crowded conditions
at the beach site, please do not bring your dog to the testing area to watch.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS... Leo Water Trial, July 22, 2006
Chatfield State Park, at the Gravel Pond. There will
WD/WRD/WRDX trials Saturday, Tadpole Sunday. This is
a "no frills" test day (no lunch provided, just tests)
and is a great way to check your progress for the summer.
If you pass, great, if not, you know what to on!
