#7, the Flairs, changed their name to the Velaires will this record was on the chart to avoid a lawsuit by Buck Ram,
who managed a California group by the same name dating back to the early 1950's. The Velaires' record was shortly
after picked up nationally by Jamie Records. The west coast group was fronted by the late Cornell Gunter in its early
days. Cornell was best known for being a member of the Coasters.
