TANF QUESTION & ANSWER
::
|
|
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Q: Can I apply for medical, food assistance and child care
too?
:::::::::::
A: The Spokane Tribe determines eligibility for TANF
benefits only, however, if you are in need of other services,
we can use this application and submit it to the State on your
behalf. In some instances, a State financial worker at our
site can see you!
Q: When will my benefits begin?
:::::::::::
A: If you are eligible for cash assistance, your benefits
start on the date we get all the information to determine you
are eligible.
Q: What is expected of me
once I am on TANF? :::::::::::
A: The Spokane Tribe wants to see you succeed! You will
meet with your Case Worker to develop an Individual Success
Plan. Your Success Plan will be your road map to success. You
and your case worker will carefully determine what the next
step towards your success should be. Then you just follow
your Plan.
Any other questions can be answered by calling one of the
numbers listed below. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: |
